A specially discounted rate of $155 USD (plus taxes) per room per night has been arranged for Asian Adult Adoptee Gathering participants. This rate (a generous reduction from the regular rack rate of $425) is available for room check-ins starting October 5, through the check-out date of October 18.

Adoptee Gathering Room Rate: Ocean-view room for $155.00/night*, plus hotel room tax of 7.25% and state tax of 4.712%, for a total of $173.54 

*based on occupancy of 2 adults (1 child age 17 or under stays for free when utilizing existing bedding)

Rental Cars

Although vehicles are not necessary to participate in the Asian Adult Adoptee Gathering & Film Festival, we suggest renting a car if you plan to tour the island independently. Vehicle rental from various rental agencies is available at Honolulu International Airport (HNL).

Call for Session Proposals 
KAHI invites conference session proposals from adult Asian adoptees who plan to attend the Asian Adult Adoptee Gathering. Panels, discussions, workshops, presentations and/or other types of sessions are tentatively slated for Sunday, Oct. 12, at the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki (subject to change). 

Although sessions may involve non-adoptees as participants or among the targeted audience, they must be organized by one or more Asian adult adoptees who will be present at the Hawai'i gathering. Additional guidelines for proposed sessions are noted on the proposal form. Download, complete, save, and submit proposals to info@KAHawaii.org no later than June 1, 2008.

Online Registration

Online registration for the Asian Adult Adoptee Gathering will begin on May 31. 

A discounted registration fee will be available for "early bird" registrants, from May 31 through June 14. General registration (at the regular rate) will be offered from June 15 through August 10. Late registration (at an increased rate) will take place from August 11 to October 1.
